update with join in MySQL

retrieve data, assume that we have id, title, name maybe set empty
table1(id, name, title, updated_time);

for each id, we can get name by PHP function
PHP function id2name($id)

we insert temp data
table2(id, name);

and update with join
update table1 LEFT JOIN table2 ON table1.id=table2.id SET table1.name=table2.name
